Planned Common Area Tree Maintenance

This is a courtesy notice that workers will be in the neighborhood the week of 09/02/2024 (next week) to perform tree maintenance in the common areas, and have been given permission by the Board to access common areas to perform this work. This may require some minimal access via your property (right of access is described in the CC&Rs, Article IX), and will require full access to guest parking for their equipment.

Following the April 2024 Homeowner's meeting discussion on much needed maintenance, the Board sought assessments and bids from specialists to identify trees in Common areas that represent a hazard to homeowners and their property-- dead or dying trees, or ones that need significant work to ensure they remain healthy. These trees have been marked by the work crew for either removal (dying and dead trees) or cleanup. All trees on the work list are in common areas, and are the responsibility of the HOA to manage. Some "personal items” were noted in and around trees that should be removed by their owners prior to start of work as the crew cannot ensure those items will not be damaged or destroyed. This may include birdhouses, cameras, swings, etc.

This is the first of two phases of tree maintenance to be performed. The second phase is planned for some time in 2025.
